A children's book
She: Like every year I go to the Youth Festival of the Book of Rouen and each time I discover the original editions, illustrators singular.
Him: We have not taken the time to speak in December Festival
She: Absolutely. That's why I come back now. My favorite went to a book that I really laugh. This is a book called "My parents are hammers.
A book where a child is confronted with strange expressions of his parents. So he hears his father tell that he saw a policeman stop a ladybug who supported on the head too.
Him: The child does not understand?
She: He imagines the scene and takes the words in their original meaning. He then imagines the animal ladybug pressing heavily on a mushroom in a meadow.
Him: The book illustrates each of his misunderstandings of language
She: Yes. And it is at once funny and comical. You can judge by the few pages reproduced here (click on images to enlarge).
Him: That's a nice gift to make.
She: Yes. It is a book Philippe Besnard and Lynda Corraze, Editions du Rouergue. Its price: 13.50 euros. I also recommend "My grandparents are stamped" which is very funny too.
