03/03/2011 The Friends .... to think! Parashat

One day while I was in my first year of secondary
jai saw a guy in my class to walk back home after
school.
His name was Maurice.
He seemed to carry all, but really all his books.
I said
"Who could bring home all his books on a Friday?
There must be an idiot!"
I had a busy weekend with my friends.
So I shrugged and continued my journey.
While walking, I saw a bunch of kids running towards Mauritius.
They joined him brought down all his books.
They made him lose his balance and Maurice fell in the mud,
losing his glasses.

latter fell to about 3 meters from him.
Maurice stood up quietly
and I could see the terrible sadness in his eyes.
I felt my heart sink and I had a knot in the throat.
So I ran to join him.
He was looking for his glasses and saw a tear running down his cheek.
I picked up his glasses and said:
"These guys are truly idiots of the worst kind.
They should be punished for what they did ".
He looked at me and said: "Oh, thank you!"
He had a broad smile on his lips.
was one of those smiles that show you the sincere gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books and I asked him where he lived.
I realized that we lived on the same street.
So I asked him why I had never seen before:
"This is because before I went to a private school."
Previously, I never agreed to talk with someone
who attends private school.
We discussed all the way back home
and I carried some of his books.
I realized it was really nice.
I invited him to come play football with my friends
the next day and he agreed.

So we spent the weekend together.
more I learned to know him, the more I liked him
and my Friends also learned to love it.
Monday morning on the way to school, I saw Maurice
again with all his books in hand.
I joined him and asked him "Wow, you'll get super muscles
to carry all your books like this every day!"
It m ' smiled and gave me half of his books.
After 4 years, Maurice and I became best friends
the world.
Finally in Secondary 5 we planned our college.
Maurice was heading for medical school and I
to study sport-football.
Maurice was the "crane" Class
and I spent my time to treat Redneck!

For graduation, he had prepared a "speech".
He was one of those who had found and affirmed
during high school.
He had taken his place and looked very good.
He now had more appointments than I am with the girls.
They loved him and I was a little jealous!
Today he was very nervous having to do this "speech"!
I gave him a pat of encouragement on the back and told him
"Hey, great, you'll be perfect!"
He looked at me and m has launched one of those looks (really sincere)
and said "Thanks!"
He began his speech, stopped to clear the voice and then launched

"The graduation is a time to thank those

who helped you get through the tough times.
Your parents, teachers, can be your coach,
but especially your friends.
I am here to say that being friends with someone
is to give him the greatest gift.
I'll tell you a story about it. "
I watched with amazement Maurice
when told the first day we knew each other.
He had planned to commit suicide over the weekend there.
He told how he had cleaned out his locker for his mother to avoid having to do so.
He looked me straight in eyes and smiled at me. "Thanks for saving me!
My friend and protected me from making a huge mistake!"
The crowd gasped.
Everyone was speechless when Maurice
the guys the best and most popular school
told his saddest memories.

I saw her parents looking at me
with the same smile of gratitude that Mauritius.
That's when I realized all the sadness
he had that day when we met.
It was not just because of young criminals.

Do not ever underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change the life of someone,
for better or for worse.
God sends each person in the life of another
for there to be an impact on our respective paths,
in any way whatsoever.
Seek God, Life, in the other.
